Brewing up for Lost Chord charity

Members of the Roche Abbey branch of the Yorkshire Countrywomen's Association in Firbeck held a\!q coffee morning at Firbeck Village Hall for dementia charity Lost Chord.

Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller said: “We are delighted that the YCA put so much enthusiasm into their fundraising for us.

“It is only thanks to the dedication and hard work of supporters like this that we can continue to maintain our programme of year round events — not just in Yorkshire but around the country.

“This donation will go directly to helping people with dementia in and around the community of Roche Abbey.

“Using our team of young professional musicians to engage with people living with dementia makes a real difference to their lives through the power of music.”
