Breakdown of how Rotherham voted in EU referendum
MORE than 60,000 Rotherham residents registered to vote in the European Union referendum didn’t turn out.
A full breakdown of the results have been released for Yorkshire and the Humber and show of 197,623 eligible in Rotherham, only 137,474 people voted.
This means 60,149 residents did not.
There were also 83 spoiled ballot papers.
Overall 93,272 people in Rotherham voted to leave (68 per cent) while 44,115 people voted to remain (32 per cent).
The total turnout was 69.6 per cent.
