From “not enough time” to “it’s too cold”, the list is endless.
But there’s no such excuses for inspirational mum Michelle Bridgewater - in fact, she should serve as motivation to the rest of us.

Hide AdMichelle is an active member of running club Kimberworth Striders - despite being diagnosed with a benign brain tumour two years ago.
She said: “I started running with the Striders about two years ago and I got diagnosed with a brain tumour.
“But I thought I am not going to let it stop me doing what I want to do because I don’t know how long I’ll be able to do it for.”
The 56-year-old completed her most recent race - the Barnsley 10K - at the end of November.

Michelle said: “To be honest, when I got the diagnosis I was devastated, but because it is benign you just carry on as if there’s nothing there.
“I have got a really positive outlook and it would be easy to panic about it and think I might not wake up tomorrow, but I am very happy with everything I’ve got and there aren’t many people can say that.”
Triplet Michelle, who has six sisters, tied the knot to husband Gary last year after retiring as a nursing manager with Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust.

“I can’t run fast because of my tumour but they are all so supportive - it’s unbelievable.
“They all call me TomTom as well because I’m always getting lost.”
