Boy (13) hurt in Rawmarsh smash


A TEENAGER has sustained “serious head injuries” after a traffic collision in Rawmarsh, a police spokeswoman has said.
The 13-year-old boy was walking on Rosehill Road when he collided with a blue Ford Fiesta, shortly before 3.30pm on Tuesday.
He remains in hospital, receiving treatment for his injuries — the 22-year-old driver was not injured.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision. They urge witnesses to call 101, quoting incident number 627 of 4 March.
