Body found at Didcot Power Station identified

THE bodies of two Rotherham men remain missing in the rubble of Didcot Power Station after one found last week was identified as that of a Welsh construction worker.

Christopher Huxtable (34), from Swansea, had been trapped under 20,000 tonnes of rubble since the collapse in February.

His body was found on Wednesday but those of Ken Cresswell (57), of Clifton, and John Shaw (61), of Kimberworth, remain trapped.

A fourth man killed — Michael Collings (53), from Teesside — was recovered at the time of the collapse.

Thames Valley Police said Mr Huxtable’s family had been informed and was being supported by specially trained officers.

A joint police and Health and Safety Executive investigation is under way to establish the circumstances of his death.
