Bid to beat racism myths

FOOTBALLERS and youth workers have teamed up to launch a new anti-racism drive.

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust and Rotherham Youth Service recently launched their joint project which aims to expose the myths that have been created around race and racism.

More than 50 people attended the event hosted by the Deputy Leader of Rotherham Borough Council, Cllr Jahangir Akhtar.

The project is inspired by the Home Office-endorsed Rewind Project and is set to be rolled out across all schools and youth groups across the Rotherham Borough becoming the first project of its kind in the town.
