Asda warning over food-poisoning risk beetroot
SUPERMARKET chain Asda is urging people to return purchases of 710g packets of Chosen By You Pickled Crinkle Cut Beetroot over a food poisoning risk.
The company has revealed there may be a potential threat of Clostridium botulinum contamination.
The only batch effected has the batch code 4340, barcode 505407035908 and best before date December 6 2016.
Customers are being urged to return the product to the store it was bought from to get a full refund or telephone 0800 952 0101.
