Appeal to help lost Swinton kitten find way home

AN animal lover is appealing to the public to help her reunite a lost kitten with its owners.

Joan Jenkinson found the young tabby outside her home in Cresswell Road in Swinton on Thursday night and the little animal followed her out of the rain and into the house.

Now she is keen to find out where the cat — believed to be about four months old — is missing from.

“For the past couple of days this adorable male tabby kitten has been playing in our garden,” Joan said.

“We came back from shopping last night to find him on our step. It was dark cold and starting to rain and he followed us into our kitchen.

“He quickly made himself at home exploring our home my own jealous cats looking on.

“He must be some ones pet and they must be looking for him but we have asked around with no results.

“I would say he is only about four or five months old and I don’t want him to get run over or harmed in any way.”
