Appeal for information about missing Rotherham mum

POLICE have appealed for help finding a Rotherham mum missing from home.

Amanda Meadows (36) was last seen by her son at her Wickersley home in the early hours of Wednesday, March 10.

She is on medication, but it is not known whether she has it with her.

Amanda is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall and has collar-length brown hair.

She may be wearing light-blue jeans and a brown body-warmer over a lime green t-shirt and light coloured ballet pumps.

Amanda is known to travel regularly from Wickersley to Rotherham by public transport and regularly shops in Tesco at Forge Island.

Police and Amanda's family are concerned for her safety and well-being, as relatives say her disappearance is completely out of character.

Anyone herself, or anyone who may have seen her since 6am on Wednesday, is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 0114 220 2020 quoting incident number 984 of March 10.
