Anger over speeding Ravenfield motorists

VILLAGERS plagued by speeding motorists have been told no traffic calming measures will be installed — despite two serious incidents occurring within 24 hours of each other.

Christine and Howard Miller, of Hooton Lane in Old Ravenfield, claim the village is one of only two in the borough to not have any safety measures in place to slow traffic down.

Bob Dennison, of Bosvile Close, whose wall was hit for the sixth time last month by an out of control car, said accidents had become “routine” but the issue was being totally neglected by the police and council.
