Actor Dean’s charity bike ride

BIKE riding actor Dean Andrews formed a chain gang with an intrepid bunch of charity fund-raisers who pedalled almost 400 miles in four days.

Life on Mars and Last Tango in Halifax star Dean Andrews pedalled the final leg of an epic ride by members of staff from Sheffield-based Internet solutions firm ASK4, on Monday (8).

The four day, 380-mile ride took the group to the UK’s four Internet exchange points and succeeded in raising over £23,000 for Weston Park Hospital.

ASK4 director, Jon Thornhill, said: “I am absolutely blown away by the generosity and support we have received from all those involved in making this incredible fund-raising challenge a reality.”
