Actor Brian Blessed: "I bit through baby's umbilical cord."
LARGER-than-life film star Brian Blessed has claimed that he bit through a newborn baby’s umbilical cord and licked the infant’s face.
The over-the-top Mexborough-born actor (pictured) made the claim in a BBC Radio interview.
He said that he helped a woman who was giving birth in Richmond Park in 1963 while he was filming a TV series.

Hide AdBrian, who is a patron of Rotherham charity Phase Worldwide, told BBC presenter Libby Purves that he bit the afterbirth loose and then tied it in a knot.
While waiting for help, he said he was licking the baby’s face.
