Accidental cooker fire in Goldthorpe
A COOKER accidentally started a fire at a property in Goldthorpe over the weekend.
Two fire crews from Dearne and Adwick stations were called out to a house on Barnsley Road at 3.40pm on Sunday afternoon.
The fire was accidental and there were no reports of any casualties, a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
Firefighters left the scene at 4.35pm.
