A hand-made Rotherham Carnival, thanks to school pupils
PUPILS at Thurcroft Infant School are helping to hand-make Rotherham Carnival.
The children got hands-on with the team behind Handmade Parade — an annual event at Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.
The power partnership made marine-themed props, which will appear in Rotherham’s first modern carnival this September.
Handmade Parade will also join the procession, with some giant puppets of their own.
