Gang with baseball bats and machetes attacks man at Eastwood
A GANG armed with baseball bats and machetes smashed the door of a house and attacked a man inside.
Five men in balaclavas gained entry at Hatherley Road in Eastwood shortly before 10.45pm on Sunday.
South Yorkshire Police said the victim – a 34-year-old man – was hit several times with a baseball bat. He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening.
