Transforming All Saints' Square: planning permission sought for flats

VV Realty Ltd has applied to change the first and second floors to residential use.

Plans say the general store which has opened since the opticians moved out would continue to operate as currently.

Papers filed with Rotherham Council say: “The proposed scheme aims to provide accommodation in an attractive environment that meets the needs of modern living that will enhance the surroundings as well as creating an interesting frontage to the streetscene.”

Rotherham Council’s environmental health says the proposals might be two houses in multiple occupation, and this will need addressing when a decision is made.
