“Once again, I am calling on the Clipper Club gang to design the Christmas card that I, and the winner, can send out to all our friends over the festive period.

“You can draw anything you want – reindeer, snowmen, mince pies, Santa, a manger, the Three Wise Men, elves – the list is endless.

“You can even write a festive message on the front, it’s completely up to you.

“I might even feature some entries on the Clipper page over the next two weeks.

“Then on November 30 the winner will be chosen by Rotherham Advertiser editor, Andrew Mosley.

“The winner’s drawing will be used on the front of the Advertiser’s Christmas card and 50 will be printed and given to the lucky winner.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for you to see your drawing transformed into a beautiful Christmas card that you can keep forever.

“Previous winners are Simon Oakton, Honey Chappell, Lucy Wadsworth and Tegan Myers (pictured).

“So what are you waiting for, start getting creative now.”

“Post your Christmas card designs to the Captain’s Manvers address, the closing date is Thursday, November 29 at noon.”
