Virgin: Time to up the performance

VIRGIN team boss John Booth says it's time to turn up the gas after another flawless Formula One race.

Timo Glock and Jerome D'Ambrosio came through the Spanish Grand Prix in 19th and 20th places for their second two-car finish in the five races so far.

Now, the Dinnington team will look to increase their speed and try to hang on to the coat tails of Lotus.

Said Booth: “In terms of the team performance, it was another strong weekend in which we have completed the first five-race cycle on the gearbox, which is a huge improvement compared to last year.

"Now we have our reliability issues behind us, we need to focus on performance developments for the car.”
