£100,000-plus ultimate Range Rover unveiled

LAND Rover is preparing to hand a motor show debut to its ultimate Range Rover.

With a hand-crafted interior featuring a teak boot lining, machined aluminium laptop table and two Apple iPads as standard, the Range Rover Ultimate takes the British marque into new realms of luxury.

Well-heEled country types will have to wait until next month’s Geneva Motor Show to get their first glimpse of their next run-around, however.

The Rolls Royce on stilts—expected to attract an eye-watering price tag in excess of £100,000—will go on sale later this year with a limited-run of 200 examples.

Available with a choice of 313bhp TDV8 or 510bhp supercharged V8 petrol engines the Ultimate Edition will benefit from Land Rover’s new eight-speed automatic gearbox to accelerate to 62mph in 7.5 or 5.9 seconds, respectively.

Emissions, however, have been slashed by 14 per cent according to the Warwickshire-based manufacturer.
