Your chance to tread the boards with Thurcroft theatre group

Thurcroft Musical Theatre Group are looking for new members to join them for their next production, Broadway & Beyond.

Following on from the success of last year’s show, That’s Entertainment, the group are looking for singers and dancers keen to tread the boards for their popular annual show, being performed later this year. 

The cabaret style show will include selections from popular musicals Mamma Mia, West Side Story, Les Miserables and others.

Rehearsals take place at 7.30pm every Wednesday at the Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall in Thurcroft, to be extended to Monday nights later in the year.

Broadway and Beyond sees the return of Anne Giblin as producer, alongside Ray Gallagher as musical diirector and Ben Wainwright as choreographer. 

Anne said: “I am delighted to be producing for Thurcroft Musical Theatre Group once again, and the production team have chosen some great musical selections. 

“We are looking for new members to join us on stage for this exciting production. 

“Members of all abilities are welcome, although they must be at least 14 years of age. 

“We are a very friendly group and we have great fun rehearsing and performing together.”
