Young Tom proves he's a Master of music with Wath Festival win

SINGER-songwriter Tom Masters will be given a helping hand in his music career after triumphing in Wath Festival’s showcase of new talent.

Tom (21, pictured) won the Young Performers Competition last Sunday with a rendition of his own original material.

The promising Leeds College of Music student, from Barnsley, won £100, a recording session with Purple Pro Audio in Leeds and a booking for the Saturday night concert at Wath Festival next year,

His name will also be engraved on the trophy shown in the picture.
