TREETON LIBRARY: The library is held at Treeton Baptist Church and is open every Tuesday 9.30am-12.30pm to exchange books and jigsaws. During school holidays Bookworms activity classes are held for children.

 

TREETON LADIES GROUP: On August 18 the group had a Rotherham evening. This included a Rotherham-themed quiz and poems and a supper of bread and dripping and Yorkshire curd tarts. Contact Carole Robinson.

HOUSING SURGERY: Treeton residents can attend a drop in session every Thursday 10.15-11.30am at Treeton Reading Rooms where they can discuss any problems relating to housing, anti-social behaviour, crime and the environment. The police, RMBC, Streetpride and Cllr John Swift are usually at these sessions. If anyone has a matter they wish to discuss in private, make this known on arrival.

 

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY: Cllr Darren Hughes of Rother Vale ward will hold a surgery every Friday 5pm at Treeton Community and Resource Centre.

 

TREETON COMMUNITY AND RESOURCE CENTRE: There will be a table top sale on September 5. Tables cost £5. To book a table, contact the centre or Terry Adair 07886520586.
