WHAT'S ON: Rawmarsh and Parkgate

RAWMARSH COMMUNITY SCHOOL: Breaks for the Easter holiday on March 18 and returns April 4. 

ASHWOOD ROAD PRIMARY SCHOOL: March 16 is an Easter Fun Day, everyone can attend school in non-uniform. School breaks up on March 18 and resumes on April 4.

THE HIGH STREET CENTRE: Every Friday 11am-2.30pm there will be job and volunteer support for young people not currently in education, employment or training aged 16-25 years. Contact Holly 01709 719478. 

9TH ROTHERHAM SCOUT GROUP: There was one new Beaverscout at the last meeting – Alfie Profit. After two years in Beavers, the following moved up to Cubs – Sophie Hamstead, Sophie Fisher, Skye Walls. Beavers made Mother’s Day cards with poem verses and heart-shaped chocolate. The Cubs had a games evening and spent some time discussing their forthcoming camp at Walsby. There were two new Cubs joining this week – Chloe Dearden and Isobelle Shawcroft. The scouts all made Mother’s Day cards as part of their Creativity Awards.
