Triple bill at Cutler's Arms this weekend

A TOWN centre pub is hosting a triple bill of music this weekend.

Five-piece Resurrection Rock will be playing tracks from Metallica, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Guns ‘N’ Roses and others at the Cutler’s Arms on Westgate from 9.30pm on Friday.

And on Saturday, recently-reformed The Raccoons will be wielding their guitars at the same time for a mix of blues and rock.

Promoter Mick Hill said: “They’re a band of local musicians who have just got back together so it should be fun.

“You can expect some rock and blues and maybe a bit Johnny Cash thrown in.”

Punk outfit The Therminators will be in action on Sunday.

Mick said the Cutler’s liked to give punters a choice of different musical styles across each night of the weekend, with free entry to all its regular gigs and tickets only needed for bigger names playing the outdoor marquee.
