Transport museum throws open its doors

TRANSPORT lovers are being invited to take a step back in time this Sunday at the South Yorkshire Transport Museum’s Event Day.

The fun starts at 11am and last admission is 4pm.

The Museum is one of the newest attractions in South Yorkshire and has a range of attractions, from heritage bus rides to new additions including a fire engine and WW2 DUKW.

There will be the chance to see one of only two Rotherham motorbuses ever restored plus the regular collection of older buses and other varied vehicles, and transport items.
