A display of lo-fi interactive works by artist Zoyander Street is being showcased by Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance at its Westgate Chambers HQ in the town centre and includes riffs on retro videogames and toys such as Tamagotchi.

The show — focused on custom electronics and textiles — aims to use playful design to encourage openness and a sense of connection about trans issues.

Thirteen new works on display include custom-made handheld consoles, original textile works and plinths made of “e-waste”.

The exhibition is open from 1pm to 5pm Tuesday to Friday until February 8.

Special sessions can be arranged on request.

Potential viewers show note the works on show make extensive use of rapid flashing effects that may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
