Trailblazer Allstars bidding for world glory

CHEERLEADERS were jumping for joy after their training facilities were boosted by a four-figure charity grant ahead of an international contest.

Trailblazers Allstars Cheerleading Academy — whose members fly out to America for the Cheerleading World Championships this weekend — was given £1,060 to spend on a new six-metre Air Floor and a Booster Block by members of the Freemasons from the Province of Yorkshire West Riding.

Members of the Wickersley-based academy will be Florida on Sunday to compete in the Level 6 competition for those aged 17 and over and are the only UK team to qualify.
