Tiptoe through the bluebells at Hodsock Priory!

A DISPLAY of spring colour is promised to those supporting a charity with a walk in the woods next week.

Hodsock Priory near Blyth, Worksop, is once again opening its grounds to the public to help raise money for the NSPCC.

On Tuesday, May 10, people are invited to take part in a Bluebell Walk through the Priory's gardens and woodland to enjoy the magnificent displays of bluebells.

Entry is £4.50 with all proceeds going towards helping the NSPCC to support local vulnerable children and adults.

The event is being organised by the local NSPCC North Nottinghamshire Branch.

Branch secretary Anthea Moat said: “Last year, the woodlands were teeming with bluebells and it was a real privilege to be able to see them.

“This will be the third year we have held the Bluebell Walk at Hodsock Priory and we would like to thank everyone for their ongoing generosity and support.

“Last year we raised over £2,500, which was marvellous.

“We are hoping this year’s event will be just as successful so we can continue to help make a difference to the lives of local children.”

Entry costs £4.50 with children under five going free.

There is disabled access to the gardens and refreshments and lunches are available in the Pavilion.
