Time to nominate a hospital hero!

Nominations are open for the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s 2015 PROUD Awards, which will be handed out in November.

The trust said the awards “celebrate excellence in healthcare by recognising exceptional NHS workers who pull out all the stops to deliver first class community and hospital services across our borough”.

The trust is inviting the public to put forward NHS staff for the 2015 Public Recognition Award, which chief executive Louise Barnett said recognised “individuals or teams who have made a real difference, delivering outstanding care to them or one of their loved ones”.

More than 100 nominations were received in this category last year.

Health workers can also nominate their colleagues in a range of categories.

Nominations must be made by September 30.
