Tickhill TFest’s X-Factor connection

X Factor star Fleur East and indie band The Hoosiers will be headlining the TFest Music Festival, which is returning for the fifth year to Tickhill Cricket Ground.

BIG names in music will be performing at a one-day music festival at a cricket ground.

Also performing is Wickersley teen idol Alfie Sheard who wowed the 8,000-strong TFest crowd in 2017.

The busker shot to fame after clocking up millions of YouTube views and was sent a signed guitar by chart-topper Ed Sheeran, as well as appearing on the US chat show Ellen.

Punk pop act Home Wrecked, whose official music video for Never Say Never made it on to Kerrang! TV, will also return.

And music producer Eliot Kennedy’s latest talent, Charlotte Hannah will bring a slice of pop to the stage on September 28.

Also performing is a Katy Perry Tribute act and the 90s Music Experience.

A festival spokesman said: “We like to think TFest is not your typical music festival. We carefully select artists to try and suit everyone’s taste and there are plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy all day long.

“The gates open at 11am and its non-stop entertainment until 11pm.”

The festival will feature two large outdoor stages, family activities, VIP area, bars and a wide choice of food.
