This show is the one that you want

GREASE is the word for theatre-goers in Sheffield next week.

Fresh from hosting Heathers, the Lyceum welcomes another much-loved high-school musical from next Tuesday to Saturday.

And the cast’s footwork in particular should be top class, because it has been overseen by Strictly legend Arlene Phillips.

If you’ve seen Grease before, you don’t need us telling you the story and if you haven’t, why not?

Directed by Leicester Curve's artistic director Nikolai Foster, Grease promises to transport its audience to the halls of Rydell High as it tells the tale of teenage sweethearts Danny and Sandy, the leather-clad greaser and the girl-next-door, against a backdrop of school disco favourites like Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted to You and You'’e the One That I Want.

Tickets are available on 0114 249 6000 or at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk.
