Theatre on the hunt for local groups to perform at pop-up venue

Cast is searching for local groups and acts to perform at Roundabout, said to be the town's first pop-up theatre, which is coming to Doncaster Marketplace on the week beginning September 16.

Acts who are interested in performing at the venue, or using the space, will have to be quick - because the deadline for submissions is May 22.

Cast, the town's permanent theatre venue, is promising a wide variety of drama, comedy, burlesque, music and more.

Roundabout will be able to seat up to 168 people in the round and Cast has promised it will showcase an exciting new programme of events right in the heart of Doncaster.

Cast is working in collaboration with Paines Plough, a writing company which produces work by a wide range of playwrights across the UK and abroad.
