The sky's the limit for stargazers at Clifton Park event
THE sky at night was a source of fascination for novices picking up tips from expert astronomers.
A free evening of stargazing, telescopes and presentations was organised at Clifton Park by by Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society and the Friends of Clifton Park.
The Planets in the Park event was the eighth held by the society to introduce newcomers to their passion for stargazing.

Hide AdMSAS reported a highly successful event, with more than 60 members of the public attending, many bringing along telescopes and posing questions about setting up and using them.
Celestial sights spotted on the night, through broken clouds, included views of the moon, Mars and various nebulae.
