The show must go on! Wickersley Youngstars extend Footloose run after flooding drama

WICKERSLEY Youngstars have extended their run of Footloose after flooding around the borough forced them to cancel last night's performance.

The group will now perform the 80s musical tomorrow (Saturday) at the Rotherham Civic from 7.15pm and anyone who had tickets for the cancelled performance will be able to attend.

Tonight's show will also go ahead as planned.

Youngstars business manager Lyndsay Hans said: "Everybody has really rallied round. The kids were so upset at missing a performance and parents weren't able to see them perform. It's been a big deal.

"The Civic has a children's party in on Saturday but they said that will be finished by 5pm, so we can put the show on."

Tickets are still available to buy from the box office, call 01709 823 621.
