The Sherlocks to return with new single and livestream show

THE Sherlocks are kickstarting a new era with their first new material with a new line-up – and news of a livestreamed gig.

Having locked themselves away to prepare for the release of their third album – complete with a series of videos to accompany upcoming singles – the South Yorkshire-founded band have announced a new single to be launched on April 9, the same day their live online gig direct from the recording studio will be available for fans to watch.

End of the Earth is their Bolton on Dearne band’s first new material since their second album, Under Your Sky, in 2019.

It is also their first with the input of guitarists Alex Procter and Trent Jackson, who stepped in after founder members Josh and Andy Davidson decided to quit the limelight.

The band said the new single was “quite punk rock, a new change of direction, but definitely the perfect comeback track”.

The livestream show will be aired via the Sessions streaming platform.

Tickets are available at the SeeTickets and Sessions websites, including an option for an "afterparty" with the band.

The Sherlocks have also announced reschedule dates for their postponed Manchester and Grimsby gigs, which will now take place On October 2 and 29.
