Ten-sational: Hotshots theatre school’s landmark show

TWENTY youngsters from the self-funded Hotshots Junior Theatre Group — all aged between seven and 17 — took part in the show at The Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall in Thurcroft.

A GROUP of young hotshots celebrated putting on their milestone tenth stage show in style with a successful three-day run of performances.

 

Around 20 youngsters from the self-funded Hotshots Junior Theatre Group — all aged between seven and 17 — took part in the show at The Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall in Thurcroft.

Rachel Blades, who runs the volunteer-led group, said the shows had proved a “big success” and praised the students, who received a fantastic reception from the audience after each of their three performances.

The show included a variety of songs and dances from all genres and followed the story of students trying to their school from closing.

Audience participation was said to be a key element and Ms Blades was grateful to everyone, who came along, showed their support and joined in.
