Teddy bears’ picnic at Flanderwell park

Youngsters are encouraged to take along a picnic, blanket and teddy to the fun and games between 1pm and 3pm.

The park, off Fleming Way, was reopened after a revamp added a toddler play section and an area for older children.

Ward member Cllr Emma Hoddinott said: “We are supporting a programme of activity through the summer holidays for families to use the park.”
