Tear-jerking wartime drama by Rotherham Rep at Civic next week
ROTHERHAM Rep return to the Civic next week with a bittersweet tale centering on the experiences of a war-time evacuee.
Goodnight Mr Tom follows young Londoner William Beech who, taken in by Tom Oakley, forges a friendship with him.
The pair form a bond as William lifts the lid on his tough life in the capital, which takes a sinister turn when he is recalled home by his mum.
