ARTWORK by talented students has been put on display as part of a gallery’s new exhibition.

The Raven Gallery is hosting more than 150 works by artists of all ages, including a range of contributions from the under-18s.

Pete Olding, curator of the gallery at Mexborough Resource Centre, said: “We are delighted with the response to this, our first open art exhibition, which we hope will develop into an annual event.

“The standard of art has been incredible and I would urge anyone to come and see for themselves.”

The gallery in Mexborough welcomes contributions from local artists of all ages.

It is open from 10am to 1pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and the current exhibition is running until November 6.

A current initiative is the People’s Vote, with all visitors encouraged to vote for their favourite piece.
