Summer fete to raise money for Harthill anti-fracking campaign

WOODSETTS Against Fracking will host a summer fete to raise campaign funds on the village recreation ground next Sunday (12).

Awareness sessions about the drilling plans from Ineos will feature along with football, art and baking competitions.

The event takes place from 11am to 4pm. Musical dementia charity Lost Chord will perform between noon and 1pm.

A spokeswoman for WAF said: “We would like as many people to join us in our continued battle to stop our beautiful countryside from being industrialised by a dirty industry.”
