The National Citizen Service group are holding a charity car wash at The Homestead pub in Broom until 6pm today and will make a collection for their two chosen charities —   The Sick Children’s Trust and Neurocare — at Rotherham Market tomorrow.

The team have also organised a quiz night at Ulley Village Hall from 7pm to 9.30pm on Thursday.

Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle.

The fundraisers finish off their busy week with a sponsored walk around Rother Valley Country Park on Friday.

The Sick Children’s Trust provides accommodation for families of sick children in hospital, while Neurocare funds equipment and funds to support neuroscience and neurology research.
