A STUDENT is holding her second major fundraising event to help pay for a mission to Africa.

Amelia-Kate Blackburn-Oliver (14) has already run a fashion show and sold bargains at car boot sales to cover the cost of a Camps International visit to Tanzania next year, where her activities will include helping to build schools, put up fences and dig wells.

Now, with help from her family, the teenager (pictured) is organising a Christmas fair on Thursday at the Fitzwilliam Arms Hotel, Parkgate, from 5pm to 8pm.

There will be a range of stalls selling Christmas decorations, crafts, gift boxes, pampering goodies, candles, candy floss and sweets, as well as a kids’ lucky dip, raffle and tombola and a doughnut van offering refreshments.
