Stars sought for talent competition

The competition takes place at Rotherham Civic Theatre on Friday, February 28 and there is still room for two more acts.

It is the third event of its kind and is open to anyone aged 15 or over who works for or has a relative who works for Rotherham Borough Council.

This includes teachers and public health workers — judges would like to see the latter category represented and are particularly looking for magic acts.

Tickets cost £5 each and are available from Rotherham Civic Theatre or from the town hall.
