Stargazing event Planets in the Park returns to Rotherham
EYES will be on the skies again next week as Friends of Clifton Park are put on another of their series of star-gazing events.
Previous Planets in the Park events with Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society have attracted more than 100 people trying out telescopes and picking up astronomy tips.
Friends group chairman Elaine Humphries said that a repeat of the free event will be held next Saturday, February 29, from 6pm to 8.30pm at the park’s Garden House.
People are welcome to take along their own telescopes and there will also be displays and demonstrations.
