Springsteen tribute band at Sitwell fundraiser for poorly boy (8)

AN EVENING of live music will be held this weekend to raise money to fund an experience wish-list for an eight-year-old boy diagnosed with a life-limiting condition.

Sam Rocks at Sitwell Golf Club will raise money for Sunnyside boy Sam Evans, who was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative condition known as Juvenile Batten disease last December.

The event will feature live music from Bruce Springsteen tribute band East Street Band, ‘rockeoke’, a fun photo booth, a raffle and more on Friday, October 11, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.

Sam is already losing his sight and overtime will suffer a loss of movement and speech.

The money raised on the night will help pay for a wish-list of memorable trips for the youngster before his condition deteriorates.

Tickets cost £10, which includes a pie and peas supper.
