The events have been organised by Rotherham Borough Council’s green spaces team.

Council officer, Donna Morton, said: “Join us for a haunted hunt around horrifying Herringthorpe Valley Park.

There are clues to find, questions to answer and prizes to be won. “Don't worry about being too scared though, come in fancy dress and you’ll be able to scare off any ghouls lurking in the woodlands.”

Youngsters will be asked to collect a free answer sheet and spooky map from the pavilion. There is no charge to join in the fun.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact 01709 822453.
