Song-writing partners perform tonight in tribute to Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin

BOY on a Dolphin star John Reilly and his writing partner will team up again tonight to celebrate a songwriting partnership that is currently a box office sensation.

John (pictured) and Lewis Nitikman are performing at Leopold Square’s Cubana tonight in honour of the music of Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

Rocketman — the film which tells the story of the writing partnership which culminated in some of the world's most popular songs — is currently receiving rave reviews.

The careers of John Reilly — the voice of Boy On A Dolphin — and his Canadian keyboard player/writing partner Lewis Nitikman, have been strongly influenced by Sir Elton, and this is one of a series of shows they are doing to pay homage to the legacy of the star.

Tunes being performed will include Your Song, Daniel and Candle In The Wind.

The Elton John event starts at 7pm and includes full tapas set menu.
