Snooker champ Dennis' Rotherham date
A charity is hoping to pocket a packet thanks to a visit from snooker legend Dennis Taylor.
The former world champion will be the guest of honour at an event being hosted by Rotherham Round Table at the Holiday Inn Rotherham on March 28.
The Northern Irishman, who scooped the top title in 1985, will recount stories from his career as a player and pundit during the event at the West Bawtry Road hotel.
Proceeds will be used to support charitable organisations in and around Rotherham.
