See Mickey, Elsa and Simba in action this week in spectacular Disney on Ice show

THE MAGIC of Mickey Mouse and the majesty of The Lion King take centre stage in South Yorkshire this week.

Disney is turning 100 this year, and celebrating with an arena show packed with more than 50 characters, which comes to the FlyDSA Arena for a five-night run starting tomorrow.

“Mouse-ter of Ceremonies” Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and pals take to the ice to honour the legacy of Walt Disney and welcome audiences on a journey through classic and modern Disney tales — all played out on the ice and set to classic songs like Hakuna Matata, You've Got a Friend in Me and Let It Go.

Audiences will travel to the heart of Africa with Disney's The Lion King, come along for an adventure in friendship with the gang from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story and watch in amazement as Belle breaks the Beast's curse in the tale of Beauty & The Beast.

There are all the familiar favourites from Frozen to see in icy action, too.

The production will be skating onto the arena from tomorrow until Sunday.
