Leanne Ghent-Clark, secretary of Rotherham Ladies RFU, said: “We chose Rotherham Rise for our Ladies’ Night because we are aware that at least one in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lives.

“Rotherham Rise has played an important role over the past 40 years in supporting survivors of domestic abuse and sexual exploitation, offering a range of services including counselling, outreach and refuge accomodation.

“We believe it is important to raise awareness of domestic abuse and sexual exploitation and to recognise the fantastic support being provided to men, women and children by Rotherham Rise.”

Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased at the club or from a member of the team.
